After graduating with a Business Management degree in 1992, I decided to pursue my passion for engineering. I attended NJIT while working full-time and earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering. During that time, I worked for the LeFrak Organization, where I served as a project engineer and manager on Newport in Jersey City, a major 300-acre waterfront development located across the Hudson River from the World Trade Center. The project included millions of square feet of office, retail, residential, infrastructure, roadway, utility, park, and waterfront improvements. Being part of a project of that scale gave me high-level exposure to development, construction, project management, facilities management, and, most importantly, leading teams.

In 2014, CityMD was beginning its major expansion and needed an in-house Professional Engineer to help develop medical offices at scale. I joined CityMD because I was drawn to the challenge of helping build a growing healthcare brand. Over the next eight years, we delivered more than 150 locations across New York, New Jersey, and Washington, while also creating the internal systems needed to operate and maintain those facilities. As Senior Vice President, I led development, construction, and facilities, which strengthened my leadership, discipline, and operational experience.

In 2017, I transitioned from my in-house role and began serving CityMD as an independent consultant. That move allowed me to establish my own Engineering and Architectural firm, Intellect Design. By 2018, the firm expanded into a full-service practice offering engineering, architecture, expediting, and project management services. Since then, Intellect Design has continued to grow by serving clients such as CityMD, Dental365, Navaderm, Small Door Veterinary, Galileo, DNTL, Juicy Platters, RendrCare, CareAbout, and Schweiger Dermatology Group.
